2/4/2020• 0 Comments
During the period of the corona-virus lockdown we are still available to represent new and existing clients in Police Stations, Courts, Prisons and Mental Health tribunals.
Our working practices are adjusting on a daily basis but please know we are still here to help you.
Many Magistrates Court buildings have temporarily closed. Those that remain open are dealing with only urgent cases, with many cases being simply being adjourned to later dates when it is hoped the virus will be under control.
Similarly many hearings in the Crown Court are being adjourned. many of those which are progressing are being dealt with by telephone or Skype (video-conferencing).
Mental Health tribunals are also being dealt with remotely.
Our lawyers are available to advise you by telephone or by Skype (which is free to download if you have a smartphone, laptop, tablet or PC). We can visit prisoners by video-link.
Please call the office if you require any advice about either an ongoing or new matter.
We are available on 0161 227 7777 during normal office hours.
