Anthony Parkin

Anthony attended the University of Manchester and graduated with an LL.B (Hons) 2:1 Degree in 2005. He completed the Legal Practice Course in 2007 at BPP in Manchester and was awarded a Distinction.

Anthony joined Robert Lizar in 2006 and initially worked in the Immigration department. He started his training contract here in July 2007. He has experience in a number of areas including housing law and prison law but since January 2008 has worked in the Mental Health department on a full-time basis. He was admitted as a solicitor in July 2009.

Anthony regularly represents clients before Mental Health Tribunals and hospital Managers’ hearings. Anthony is a member of the Law Society’s specialist Mental Health Tribunal panel.
